Offensive Player of the Week
Kamari King (Western Connecticut) – Senior – Outside Hitter – East Hartford, Conn.
King was named LEC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season after averaging 4.17 kills and 3.00 digs per set in a 3-0 week for the Colonials. She tallied 15 kills and 13 digs in a 3-1 win at Farmingdale State before putting down a week-high 22 kills with 10 digs in a 3-1 Little East victory at Southern Maine. She then capped the week with a 13-kill, 13-dig performance in a 3-1 win over Colby. King ranks second in the LEC in kills (314) and kills per set (3.69).
Defensive Player of the Week
Macayla Chianco (UMass Boston) – Senior – Libero – Clearwater, Fla.
Chianco was named LEC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after averaging 6.78 digs per set in a 2-0 week for the Beacons. She totaled 28 digs as UMass Boston overcame a 2-0 deficit to register a 3-2 come-from-behind conference win over Rhode Island College, and then notched 33 digs in a 3-1 LEC triumph over Keene State, which entered the match tied with the Beacons and Eastern Connecticut for first-place in the conference standings. Chianco ranks third in the LEC in digs (364) and digs per set (4.39)
Rookie of the Week
Anna Barry (Eastern Connecticut) – Freshman – Middle Hitter – Andover, Conn.
Barry was named LEC Rookie of the Week for the fourth consecutive week after totaling 36 kills and hitting .291 in a 3-0 week for the Warriors. She registered nine kills and three blocks while hitting .364 (9-1-22) in a sweep of Plymouth State before scoring 16 kills with seven digs while hitting .314 (16-5-35) in a 3-2 win at Salve Regina. The Andover, New Hampshire native capped the with and 11-kill performance in a 3-1 victory at UMass Dartmouth. Barry continues to lead the LEC in hitting percentage (.362), and ranks seventh in both kills (237) and kills per set (2.76).
