Offensive Player of the Week

Megan Palmer (Keene State) – Sophomore – Outside Hitter – East Islip, N.Y.
Palmer was named LEC Offensive Player of the Week after averaging 5.20 points and 3.38 digs per set in a 2-1 week for the Owls, totaling 36 kills and 27 digs. She totaled 15 kills and 16 digs in a 3-0 win at Worcester State before registering 10 kills and two errors on 18 swings to hit .444 in a 3-0 win over Smith. Palmer capped the week tallying 11 kills, three service aces and seven digs at Babson. She leads the LEC in points (191), ranks second in in kills (163), fourth in points per set (3.90) and fifth in kills per set (3.33).

Defensive Player of the Week

Riley Bunker (Keene State) – Senior – Libero – Simi Valley, Calif.
Bunker was named LEC Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season after averaging 6.00 digs per set in a 2-1 week for the Owls. She had 20 digs in a 3-0 win at Worcester State and 13 digs in a sweep of Smith before ending the week with 21 digs in a setback against Babson. Bunker continues to lead the LEC in digs (267) and digs per set (5.04) through her first 16 matches of the season.

Rookie of the Week

Amelia Murphy (Rhode Island College) – Freshman – Outside Hitter – North Attleboro, Mass.
Murphy was named LEC Rookie of the Week for the third time in as many weeks after averaging 4.80 kills and 1.00 digs per set in a 2-1 week for the Anchorwomen, totaling 48 kills and 10 digs for the week. She hit .475 in a 3-0 conference victory over Plymouth State, totaling a season-high 22 kills with three errors on 40 attempts, and put down 18 kills over five sets in a loss to Trinity (Conn.). Murphy currently sits fifth in the LEC in kills (140) and ranks fourth in kills per set (3.41) through the first 12 matches of her collegiate career.
