OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Kamari King (East Hartford, Conn.), Junior, Western Connecticut

King averaged 5.63 kills and 3.75 digs per set in pair of vital LEC victories last week for the Colonials, allowing them to secure the No. 5 seed in this week's LEC Championship Tournament. She recorded 17 kills with eight digs in a 3-0 win over Eastern Connecticut and then totaled 28 kills with 22 digs in a 3-2 win at UMass Dartmouth. 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Riley Bunker (Simi Valley, Calif.), Junior, Keene State

Bunker was named LEC defensive Player of the Week for the fourth time this season after averaging 4.20 digs per set in a 2-1 week for the Owls. She totaled a week-best 25 digs in a 3-1 win over Plymouth State, giving the Owls a share of the 2017 LEC regular season championship. Bunker also had 14 digs in a non-conference win over Curry. 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Nicolina Chenard (Ardsley, N.Y.), Freshman, Western Connecticut

Chenard averaged 2.25 kills and 1.63 digs per set in a pair of LEC victories. She had seven kills and six digs in a 3-0 win over Eastern Connecticut before putting down 11 kills with seven digs in a 3-2 win at UMass Dartmouth to cap the week. The two conference wins secured the No. 5 seed in this week's conference tournament for the Colonials.
