Most Outstanding Player

Kim Church (Farmington, Conn.), Senior, Goalkeeper, Eastern Connecticut State University

Church did not allow a goal in the 2009 Little East Women's Soccer Championship to backstop Eastern Connecticut to the program's third conference tournament championship and first since 2005. The Farmington, Conn. product held the conference's two top scoring offensives scoreless in UMass Boston (2.95 gpg) and Keene State College (2.36 gpg). Church made a pair of stops against the Beacons in the semifinal round, while stopping six Owls' attempts in the championship round. She earned her fourth shutout on the campaign against top-seeded Keene State.
