• 2012 Little East Spring All-Academic Teams Announced

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The Little East Conference office announced its 2012 Spring All-Academic Teams this afternoon. The conference honored a total of 148 student-athletes in its seven spring championship sponsored sports: baseball, men's and women's lacrosse, softball, men's tennis, and men's and women's outdoor track and field.

Rhode Island College completed the major awards program by garnering the Team Sportsmanship Award.

    NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. – The Eastern Connecticut State University Warriors have been projected to win the 2012 Little East Conference women’s lacrosse regular-season championship, as voted by the league’s seven coaches. Eastern Connecticut penned six of the seven first place votes into its ledger and totaled 48 points to sit atop the annual preseason survey for the fourth time in program history.
