• Gavin garners ECAC All-New England accolade

    PROVIDENCE, R.I.-Rhode Island College senior attacker Caitlin Gavin (Portsmouth, RI) was recently named Second Team All-New England by the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) for her performance in women’s lacrosse this past spring. Gavin is the first student-athlete in the program’s seven-year history to earn a place on the All-Region team.

    Providence, RI—Rhode Island College has named Denis Chartier as its new head women’s lacrosse coach. Chartier takes over Ryan Angel who stepped down in the summer to take an assistant women’s soccer coach’s position at Brandeis University. Chartier is the third coach in the program’s six-year history.
