The Corsairs advanced to the Little East Conference Tournament championship game for a conference-high 12th time, making their most recent appearance since the 2001 squad raised the conference championship trophy.

The Anchormen are playing in the program's second championship game after capturing the 2007 Little East Conference Championship Tournament title last winter.
