NEW ORLEANS – The UMass Dartmouth men's track & field team is Ranked No. 18 in NCAA Division III this week by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) after being ranked 16th a week ago.

Senior Jared Louf-Woods (Salem, Mass.) currently ranks No. 1 in the nation in the hammer throw (62.45m) and ninth in the shot put (15.77m), while sophomore Jordan Entwistle (Northborough, Mass.) ranks No. 2 in the country in the javelin (66.34m). Freshman Bruno Pires (New Bedford, Mass.) is ranked 19th in the 800-meter run (1:55.00).
