Player of the Week

Ty Nichols (Keene State) – Senior – Forward – Springfield, Mass.
Nichols was named the Little East Conference Player of the Week after averaging 25.5 points, and 10 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game while leading the Owls to victories over UMass Boston (92-77) and No. 12 Middlebury (93-88). The senior shot 57 percent (17-30) from the floor and 87 percent (13-15) from the line. Nichols tallied 25 points, 23 of which were scored in the second half, to go with six rebounds, six assists and two steals in the home win over the Beacons to start the week before going off for 26 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists in the road triumph over the nationally ranked Panthers. Following the win over Middlebury, Nichols is the only player active player in NCAA men's basketball, regardless of division, to have racked up career totals of 1,700 points, 500 rebounds, and 400 assists.

Rookie of the Week

Edwin Ezedonmwen (Keene State) – Freshman – Guard – Dorchester, Mass.
Ezedonmwen was named the Little East Conference Rookie of the Week after averaging 10.5 points per game in his 22.5 minutes per game off the bench in a 2-0 week for the Owls. He started the week by scoring 10 points with three assists in a 92-77 win over UMass Boston before dropping in 11 points and pulling down four rebounds in a 93-88 victory at No. 12 Middlebury.
