Keene State’s Bruno Named All-American by NFHCA and Synapse Sports

CHANDLER, Ariz. – Keene State College's Nina Bruno can now add All-American to her resume following announcements from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) and Synapse Sports. The sophomore forward was named a Second-Team All-America selection by the NFHCA while garnering Third-Team All-America honors from Synapse Sports. 

The Agawam, Mass. native led the Little East Conference (LEC) and ranked in the top-three in the nation in goals (32) and points (74) in 2018, while leading the Owls to their sixth consecutive LEC tournament championship. She was named the 2018 Little East Offensive Player of the Year in addition to First Team All-Conference and All-Region honors.

After just two seasons collegiate seasons, Bruno ranked in the top-10 at Keene State with 127 career points (seventh) and 55 career goals (sixth). Her 32 goals and 74 points this season are the second-highest single-season totals in program history.
