NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. The Little East Conference office announced its annual womens cross country major award winners this afternoon after a vote by the conferences coaches. Keene State College sophomore Paige Mills (Keene, N.H.) was named the runner of the year, while University of Massachusetts Dartmouth sophomore Caitlin McGarigal (Shutesbury, Mass.) was selected as the rookie runner of the year. The Owls Peter Thomas was tabbed as the coach of the year, while Rhode Island College was honored with the inaugural team sportsmanship award.

KEENE, N.H. - The 13th Annual New England Alliance Cross Country Championship turned out just as advertised at Keene State College's Owl Athletic Complex course on Saturday. The host Owl women placed all five of its scorers in the top-10, tallying 20 points and capturing its 10th consecutive Little East Championship.

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. The top mens and womens runners in the Little East Conference and Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference converge on the campus of Keene State College for the 13th annual New England Alliance Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Owl Athletic Complex in Keene, N.H. The womens 5-kilometer race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m., while the mens 8-kilometer competition following approximately an hour later.
