CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Keene State College senior Jennifer Adams (Saratoga Springs, N.Y.) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Player of the Week this afternoon.

Adams covered the 5-kilometer course at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational in a time of 17:45 putting her tops among the field of 222 runners. Adams finished 26 seconds ahead of her nearest competitor and was the only runner to finish the course in less than 18 minutes. Her time helped Keene State to a second place finish among the 29-team field.

Keene State College returns to action on Sept. 22, when the Owls participate in the Iona Meet of Champions.
