Track Athlete of the Week
Linee Mello-Frost (New Bedford, Mass.), Sophomore, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth

Mello-Frost won the 100-meter hurdles at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday, covering the course in 16.73 seconds.

Field Athlete of the Week
Samantha Hirsh (Holliston, Mass.), Senior, Keene State College

Hirsh provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Championships in the javelin throw with a toss of 135'-04". She won the even at the George Davis Invitational, hosted by UMass Lowell.

Rookie Track Athlete of the Week

Megan Oliveira (Somerset, Mass.), Freshman, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth

Oliveira won at 800 meters in 2:36.77 at Saturday's UMass Dartmouth Invitational.

Rookie Field Athlete of the Week
Bethany Dumas (Augusta, Maine), Freshman, University of Southern Maine

Dumas had another strong day Saturday at the George Davis Invitational held at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She won the pole vault by clearing 3.35 meters (10-6), placed second in the javelin with a throw of 35.72 meters (117.2), and took seventh in the long jump with a leap of 4.87 (15-11 3/4). The meet was a non-scoring event featuring teams from Division II-III.
