Track Athlete of the Week.

Linee Mello-Frost (New Bedford, Mass.), Sophomore, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth

At the Springfield College Invitational, Frost won the 55 meter hurdles in 9.15 seconds. She qualified for the Eastern Conference Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championships in the trials with a time of 8.99 seconds

Field Athlete of the Week

Christina Bourbeau (Manchester, N.H.), Junior, Keene State College

Bourbeau broke her own school record in the pole vault with a first place jump of 10'-06.00 at the Wesleyan Invitational. Her previous mark was 10'-0.75". Bourbeau also finished second in the 400 (1:03.24).

Rookie Track Athlete of the Week

Bethany Dumas (Augusta, Maine), Freshman, University of Southern Maine
Dumas showed her versatility this past weekend accounting for 17 of Southern Maine's 38 points at the Reggie Poyau Memorial Invitational held at Brandeis University. The third seed heading into the finals, she won the 55-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 8.90 seconds. She later finished fourth in the 200 meters with a time of 27.73 seconds. Dumas picked up two points in the long jump with her seventh place finish and a jump of 4.71 meters (15-5 1/2).

Rookie Field Athlete of the Week
Kim Mangum (Warwick, R.I.), Freshman, Rhode Island College

Mangum earned a pair of individual victories this past weekend at the Wesleyan Invitational. She captured the long jump (5.21 meters) and the triple jump (10.90 meters) to pace the Anchorwomen.
