Track Athlete of the Week
Kayla DiBlasi (Smithfield, R.I.), Sophomore, Rhode Island College

DiBlasi established a new school record in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 10.16 in the preliminary round at the Harvard Invitational. The Smithfield, R.I. product placed 13th in the finals with a time of 10.24.

Field Athlete of the Week
Bethany Dumas (Augusta, Maine), Freshman, University of Southern Maine

The first-year pole vaulter opened her collegiate career in fine fashion at the Preseason Invitational at Bowdoin College. Dumas cleared 3.49 meters (11-5 1/4) to post an NCAA provisional qualifying mark. Dumas also took second in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 9.71 seconds.

Rookie Field Athlete of the Week
Kim Mangum (Warwick, R.I.), Freshman, Rhode Island College

Mangum set a new Rhode Island College school record in the triple jump at the Harvard Invitational. The native of Warwick, R.I. registered a distance of 10.70 meters, surpassing the previous standard of 10.15 meters. The Harvard Invitational was an individual-scoring meet.
