Cawley Selected to NSCAA/adidas Scholar Athlete All-East Team

KANSAS CITY, KS - Western Connecticut State University senior goalkeeper Shannon Cawley (Willimantic, Conn.) has been named to the 2008 NSCAA/adidas Scholar Athlete All-East First Team.

This past fall, Cawley led the Colonials to the Little East Conference Tournament championship and the NCAA Division III Tournament second round. She registered nine shut outs and had an impressive 0.75 goals-against average in her final season. She made 60 saves and had a .779 save percentage for the 15-4-3 Colonials.
