Men's Cross Country

Male Runner of the Week

Samuel Wood (Laconia, N.H.), Junior, Keene State College

Wood earned All-Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) honors this past weekend at the Division III Championships, hosted by Roger Williams College. The junior covered the 8-kilometer course in a time of 26 minutes and 43 seconds to place sixth overall in the 322-person field. The Owls finished second in the overall team standings.

Male Rookie of the Week
Kevin Hoyt, (Newtown, Conn.), Freshman, Keene State College

Hoyt was the first rookie in the Little East Conference to cross the finish line at the ECAC Division III Championships on Saturday. The Newtown, Conn. product placed 26th overall at the regional championship, posting a time of 27 minutes and 33 seconds.  

Women's Cross Country

Female Runner of the Week

Courtney Testa (Hopkinton, Mass.), Freshman, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth

Testa was the first Little East Conference women's cross country student-athlete to complete the 6-kilometer Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Championship this past weekend. The Hopkinton, Mass. native averaged six minutes and 43 seconds per mile to place 33rd overall in the 298-person field with a time of 25 minutes flat.
