Men's Cross Country

Male Runner of the Week

Craig MacPherson (Derry, N.H.), Sophomore, Keene State College

MacPherson helped Keene State capture the team championship at the Saratoga Springs Invitational this past weekend, covering the 6-kilometer course in a time of 25 minutes and 46 seconds. The Owls sat atop the overall standings with 62 points.

Male Rookie of the Week
Kevin Hoyt  (Newtown, Conn.), Freshman, Keene State College

Hoyt was Keene State's top freshman finisher at the Saratoga Springs Invitational. He placed 66th with a time of 27 minutes and six seconds. The Owls won the championship with 62 points.

Women's Cross Country

Female Runner of the Week
Heather Pierce (Buckland, Mass.), Freshman, Keene State College

Pierce was Keene State's top finisher at the Saratoga Springs Invitational this past weekend. She finished 16th overall with a time of 18 minutes 36 seconds. The Owls placed fourth in the 24-team field with 145 points.
