Track Athlete of the Week
Evan Davis (Fair haven, Vt.), Sophomore, University of Southern Maine

Davis helped Southern Maine earn a fifth place finish among 13 teams competing at the Tufts University Snowflake Classic with three top-five performances. Davis was fourth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.95 seconds in the finals, and fifth in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 59.10. Davis posted cleared 1.86 meters (6-1 1/4) for third in the high jump.

Field Athlete of the Week
Bryan Kolacz (Brentwood, N.H.), Sophomore, Keene State College

Competing in the Owls first outdoor meet of the season at Trinity College's Bantam Invitational on Saturday, Kolacz finished first in the both hammer and discus events with school record throws. The sophomore from Brentwood, N.H. broke his Keene State record and posted an automatic NCAA Championship mark with his first place finish (189'-09") in the hammer throw. He also set an Owl record (149'-00") with his first place effort in the hammer.

Rookie Track Athlete of the Week
Justin Vigeant (Wells, Maine), Freshman, University of Southern Maine

Vigeant set a school record en route to winning the 200 meters with a time of 22.34 seconds, breaking the old mark by 0.14 seconds. He also placed third in the 100 meters with a time of 11.27 to help Southern Maine take fifth in the team standings at the Tufts University Snowflake Classic.
