Co-Track Athletes of the Week

Chris Gemske - Eastern Connecticut State University
Sophomore, West Hartford, Conn.

Gemske won the 100-meter (11.18) and 200-meter (22.15) races at the Coast Guard Academy Invitational.  His 200-meter time qualifies him for the ECAC Open Championships.

Samuel Singleton - Salisbury University
Senior, Baltimore, Md.

Singleton finished second in the 400-meter dash (49.14) at the Emory University Spring Break Invitational.  He was also a member of the 4x100-meter relay team (41.33) that won and shaved 0.3 seconds off its own school record.  The time reached the provisional qualifying standard that allows them to attend the NCAA Championships. 

Co-Field Athletes of the Week

Dean Brown - City College of New York
Junior, Uniondale, N.Y.

Brown won the high jump (2.01m) at the Lynchburg Invitational.  The junior's mark also provisionally qualifies him for the NCAA Championships.

Sean Corey - Rowan University
Sophomore, Cherry Hill, N.J.

Corey placed third for collegiate athletes and fourth overall in the javelin at the Wake Forest Open.  His throw of 62.50 meters automatically qualifies him for the NCAA Championships.
