GORHAM, Maine – Sophomore Parker Chipman (Pownal, Maine/Freeport) set a school and Little East Conference record en route to winning the 600-meter run to highlight 10 first place finishes as the University of Southern Maine Huskies men’s indoor track and field team claimed the 2010 New England Alliance and Little East Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championship Saturday at the Costello Sports Complex in Gorham, Maine.

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. - The University of Southern Maine will host the 13th annual New England Alliance Men's and Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships at the Costello Field House beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Feb 13. GORHAM, Maine – The University of Southern Maine Huskies 4 x 800 relay team of senior Jimmy Sawyer (Gorham, Maine), junior George Foster (Lewiston, Maine) and sophomores Seth Neuts (Portland, Maine/Deering) and Tim Even (Stoneham, Maine/Fryeburg Academy) combined for a school record time of seven minutes, 56.8 seconds to help the Huskies capture to the 2010 State of Maine Indoor Track and Field Championship Saturday night at the Costello Sports Complex in Gorham, Maine.
