April 1, 2009 NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. The Little East Conference office handed out its annual hardware for the 2009 mens indoor track and field season this afternoon after a vote by the conferences head coaches. Keene State College sophomores Craig MacPherson (Derry, N.H.) and Bryan Kolacz (Brentwood, N.H.) were named track and field athletes of the year, respectively. The University of Southern Maine freshman duo of Tim Evan (Stoneham, Maine) and Mattia Zagon (Portland, Maine) were selected as the rookie track and field athletes of the year, respectively. |

March 16, 2009 Sophomore Craig MacPherson and senior Peter Najem, both from Derry, N.H., added their names to the long list of Keene State All-Americas at the NCAA Division III Track and Field Championships at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana on Saturday. McPherson earned his second All-America in the mile while Najem, competing in the 800-mete race, claimed his first honor. For the second year in a row, MacPherson finished third in the mile. |

February 21, 2009 CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Keene State College sophomore Bryan Kolacz (Brentwood, N.H.) captured the the 35-pound weight throw this afternoon at the New England Division III Men's Indoor Track and Field Championships to lead the Owls to eighth in the 24-team field. The University of Southern Maine won the 4X400-meter relay to help the Huskies place 10th in the overall standings. |
