Little East Conference Men's Indoor Track & Field
Male Athlete of
the Week
Hunter Stewart (Foster, R.I.), Senior, Rhode Island
College
Stewart made his indoor season debut at the Springfield
Invitational, winning the 600-meter event. The senior from Foster,
R.I. crossed the finish line with a time of 1:25.41. He also
combined with his teammates to capture the distance medley relay
team (11:17.36).

Athlete of the Week
Bryan Kolacz (Brentwood, N.H.), Sophomore, Keene State
College
Kolacz set a pair of Keene State records in the weight throw and
shot put at the Smith College Winter Classic. He posted an NCAA
provisional qualifying mark of 57'-05.00" to win the weight throw,
while also claiming the shot put (47'-03.75").
Male Rookie of
the Week
Andrew Ricketts (Hartsdale, N.Y.), Freshman, Eastern
Connecticut State University
In his first collegiate meet, Ricketts was second in a field of 26
in the 55 meters. He qualified for the New England Division III and
ECAC Division III Championships with a 6.64 in the preliminary
round.
Male Rookie Field
Athlete of the Week
Ben Lungren (Niantic, Conn.), Freshman, Eastern Connecticut
State University
Lungren set a facility record of 12-11 in the pole vault in his
first collegiate meet Saturday at Springfield College. He shared
second place with teammate Matt Pyne's and qualified for the New
England Division III Championships. Lungren also placed fifth in
the long jump (19-8).
