NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- Plymouth State University sophomore goalie Billy Morgan (Winchester, Mass.) was tabbed the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III New England Defensive Player of the Week after backstopping the Panthers to victories over Castleton State and Salem State College. Twenty-four hours earlier, Morgan was selected as the Little East Conference Goalie of the Week.

Between the pipes, Morgan posted a 3.27 goals against average and a .793 save percentage in a pair of starts. In his lone conference game on Saturday, he turned back a season-high 14 Vikings' attempts to help Plymouth State pen a 13-5 win in its ledger. Earlier in the week, Morgan stopped nine of the 11 shots he faced against the Spartans.

In six appearances, Morgan has a 2-2 record with a 10.86 goals against average and a .505 save percentage. He has recorded at least seven saves five times.

Plymouth State returns to action at 4 p.m. on April 16, when the Panthers travel to New England College for a non-conference contest.
