Eastern Connecticut Hosts Radio Talk Show
WILLIMANTIC, Conn. -- The second installment of
Eastern Athletics Weekly - Eastern Connecticut State University's
student-run one-hour sports talk show -- can be seen live on LittleEast.tv
this Friday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m.
The hour-long show - hosted by Nicholas Aconfora, Nicholas
Minutelli and Sean Harrison - will also be archived for later
viewing under ""Recent Archives" on LittleEast.tv immediately upon
completion of its live airing.
Periodically, student-athletes, coaches and staff will interviewed
on the show. The first half-hour of the show reviews the week in
Eastern intercollegiate athletics, and looks ahead to upcoming
activity. The hosts will discuss professional and Division I
football and basketball in the second segment.
Viewers will have an opportunity to win Eastern athletic apparel
and other merchandise by answering trivia questions as part of each
show.
All three EAW hosts are Newington natives and graduates of
Newington High School.
Aconfora is a sophomore Communication major and has served as a
play-by-play broadcaster for numerous Eastern sports since last
year. He aspires to a career in broadcast journalism and to host
his own sports talk show following graduation. He was a four-year
member of the NHS basketball program.
Also a sophomore, Minutelli is an Economics major who is studying
radio at Eastern and is involved in business. Minutelli also played
four years of basketball and two years of golf at NHS.
Harrison is a junior Accounting major at Eastern who has an
interest in radio broadcasting and is studying to become a
Certified Public Accountant. Harrison was also a four-year
basketball letterwinner at NHS who additionally played golf and ran
cross country.
