OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Khiara Valentine (Morristown, N.J.), Sophomore, Eastern Connecticut

Valentine scored six goals and assisted on another for 13 total points in a 2-0 week for the Warriors. She opened the week with a two-goal performance in a 3-2 non-conference win at Johnson & Wales before scoring four goals and assisting on the other in a 5-0 LEC victory over Salem State. 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Rachel Hopkins (Chelmsford, Mass.), Freshman, Worcester State

Hopkins recorded a key defensive save in the opening minutes of the Lancers' 2-1 Little East Conference victory over Plymouth State. Her first defensive stop of the season helped first-place Worcester State remain undefeated in LEC play (7-0).

GOALKEEPER/ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Neve Manion (Newington, Conn.), Freshman, Western Connecticut

Manon was 2-0 in the cage with a 1.00 goals against average and a .833 save percentage for the Colonials last week. She totaled four saves in a 3-2 non-conference win over Manhattanville before stopping all six shots on cage she faced in a 1-0 LEC victory over Southern Maine.
