Dubois Named Academic All-Amercian

KEENE, N.H. – Keene State’s
Amy Dubois has been named to the ESPN the Magazine
District I women’s at-large Academic All-America team
announced on Thursday.
A four-year starting midfielder for the KSC field hockey team,
Dubois, a health, promotion, and fitness major, also go the job
done in the classroom, achieving a 3.94 cumulative GPA. The
recipient of Keene State’s scholar-athlete award, Dubois, a
senior from Jefferson, N.H., also received Little East and National
Field Hockey Coaches academic honors and topped the list of 103
student athletes and student athletic trainers who were named to
the KSC All-Academic team
Dubois has been one of Keene State’s most dependable field
hockey players. Noted for her fine stick work and field awareness,
she helped the Owls capture four consecutive LEC championships and
NCAA berths.
Dubois, who earned her degree earlier this month, is working as a
field coordinator for Healthy New Hampshire Kids, an organization
that helps provide free or low cost health insurance for families
in need.
