10 Owls named to national field hockey academic team
KEENE, N.H. - Ten members of the Keene State
College field hockey team have been named to the 2007 National
Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Division III Academic
Squad.
The following Owl players earned the honor after achieving a
minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester
of the 2007-08 academic year: Chelsea Blackmer (Boylston, Mass.),
Marissa Boccaccio (West Hartford, Conn.), Amy Dubois (Jefferson,
N.H.), Allie Franklin (Newington, Conn.), Jennifer McDougall (Avon,
Conn.), Liz Rand (Peterborough, N.H.), Leigh Smith (Sanborton,
N.H.), Vikki Stoessel (Derry, N.H.), Kat Trimmer (Worcester,
Mass.), and Amanda Wright (Shelburne, Mass.).
Keene State also received the National Academic Team award for
having a team GPA of 3.0 or higher for the fall 2007 semester.
