Jack Holleran was promoted to the position of Little East
Assistant Commissioner in July of 2012. Holleran was elevated from
his previous role of director of communications, which he had held
from August 2006.
Holleran oversees the eight charter institutions as well as
the six other sport specific schools through general media
relations, serving as the statistical historian, and maintaining
the conference web site.
As the sports information assistant, Holleran assists in the
promotion of Rhode Island College's 19 varsity teams through
general media relations and seasonal media guides, as well as
maintaining statistics at athletic events, and updating the
athletic web site.
Prior to joining the Anchormen, Holleran served as the assistant
director of athletic communications at the Colleges of Hobart and
William Smith. He also interned in the athletic communications
office during his undergraduate career.
A 2005 graduate of Hobart College, Holleran played an integral
role in the Statesmen football team's two NCAA tournament
appearances and three Liberty League titles between 2001 and 2004.
An explosive running back, Holleran flourished during his senior
year, leading the charge with 974 rushing yards and eight rushing
touchdowns. A four-year mainstay in the backfield, he gained 2,163
yards and scored 18 touchdowns in 39 career games.
A native of Sharon, Massachusetts, Holleran earned his bachelor's
degree in English in May of 2005.
